The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rescheduled Talent Hunt trials for Women’s U19 and Emerging Cricketers in Karachi due to persistent torrential rains.
These trials were slated for Thursday, August 21. Now Talent Hunt trials will take place on Tuesday, September 02, 2025, at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre.
The trials schedule for the rest of the country remains the same.
The PCB will hold trials in eight cities as part of the two-week talent hunt. Players born on or after September 1, 2006, are eligible to participate in the U19 trials. There is no cutoff date for emerging players. It sets 12 as the minimum age for U19 players.
The PCB will hold trials to select the next crop of U19 players. It will mentor, train and then provide a chance to develop in the four-team women’s U19 Tournament. The event will be held in September and October.
National Women’s Selection Committee, comprising former Pakistan women’s player Batool Fatima and former Test cricketer Asad Shafiq, will conduct the trials across all the cities with the assistance of respective regional coaches.
