Synoptic Situation: Strong monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal are continuously penetrating Pakistan, especially the southern parts.

Under the influence of these meteorological conditions, torrential rains are likely in Karachi and parts of Sindh and Balochistan on Wednesday evening/night and the next two days with occasional gaps.
Sindh:
Met office prediction: Following areas will witness rainfall on Wednesday evening/night and next two days with occasion gaps. These are will witness widespread rains and gusty winds with scattered heavy and at times hefty falls. Mithi and Tharparker. Umer Kot, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Karachi, Thatta and Badin. Sajawal, Tando Allayar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sanghar and Jamshoro.
Scattered rains likely fall in Sukkur, Larkana, Khairpur and Jacobabad during the forecast period.
Balochistan:
Med office predicted Rains and gusty winds with scattered heavy falls in parts of Balochistan. It predicted rainfall on Wednesday evening/night and the next two days with occasional gaps in Barkhan. In Musakhel, Loralai, Sibbi, Zhob, Qilla Saifullah and Khuzdar. And in Lasbella, Awaran, Kech, Gawadar and Panjgur.
Other Areas:
Subdued rain and wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Attock, Murree/Galiyat, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan and Rajanpur), and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mohmand, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan and Swabi) during the forecast period.
Impacts:
Torrential rains may cause urban flooding in Karachi and Thatta. In Badin, Sajawal, Tharparker, Umer Kot, Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad. And in Shaheed Benazirabad, Tando Allayar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sanghar and Jamshoro.
Widespread rains may generate flash floods in north/southeastern parts of Balochistan.
