Simon Cowell’s “Got Talent” Coming to Pakistan

“Got Talent” is coming to Pakistan, Pixel Entertainment announced on Tuesday.

Considered as most successful reality tv program in history, Simon Cowell’s show has already aired in 70 countries.

Pixel Entertainment CEO Rizwan Siddiqui announced the development.

“We signed the agreement with Fremantle to bring the Iconic ‘Got Talent’ franchise to Pakistan,” he said.

The shows will be recorded in Karachi but the management has yet to announce the schedule.

The Pixel Entertainment has described the agreement as landmark move for Pakistan. “We have officially signed the groundbreaking deal with Fremantle,” said Siddiqui. He called it landmark step for Pakistan entertainment industry.

“Global entertainment powerhouse Fremantle is bringing the internationally acclaimed ‘Got Talent’ to Pakistan for the very first time.”

Simon Cowell and Got Talent:

Simon Cowell has created the Got Talent formation and Fremantle owns it. It holds the Guinness World Record for the most successful reality TV format in history.

Siddiqui said: “Pakistan’s Got Talent will provide a high-profile platform for individuals in all over Pakistan. We will provide platform for performance to every person regardless of age, background, or discipline. Anyone can showcase his/her extraordinary abilities.”

Rizwan Siddiqui has described the deal as the moment of immense pride and excitement. Bringing Got Talent to Pakistan, he believes, means unlocking the incredible, diverse, and often undiscovered talent that exists across our cities, towns, and villages. “We are thrilled to provide a global stage for performers in Pakistan to shine.”

The show will welcome talent across all genres—from singers, dancers, magicians, and comedians to acrobats, beatboxers, and beyond.

“With open auditions planned nationwide, Got Talent Pakistan aims will reflect the vibrant spirit and creativity of the people.”

A report stated that “with both Pakistan Idol and Pakistan’s Got Talent in the pipeline, the entertainment scene in the country looks set for a much-needed shakeup.”
