Standing on a red carpet, US President Donald Trump greeted Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Will Trump add another feather to his cape in form of Ukraine ceasefire after brokering Pakistan-India true and D.R Congo and Rwanda peace deal?

Many believe Putin has a trade exemption and nuclear arms control deal with the US on the table for face-saving.

Ahead of the much-awaited meeting, which likely to decide the fate of the war-torn Ukraine, they shook hands for several seconds and exchanged initial greetings.

It has been six years since the two met in Japan during Group of 20 (G20) summit.

All eyes on Alaska as the two leaders discuss the Ukraine ceasefire and other issues, with no seat available for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump has already declared: “I want Ukraine ceasefire today.”

“I hope talks go well. I am ready to walk away if they do not,” he told Fox News before reaching Alaska.
