Sri Lanka beat Hong Kong by four wickets in the T20I Asia Cup match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Monday evening.
Chasing a decent 150-run target for victory, Sri Lanka crossed the finish line with four wickets in hand and seven balls to spare.
The match committee named Pathun Nissanka as player of the match for his highest score for the winning side. He made 68 off 44 balls. Pathun hit six fours and two huge sixes. Wanindu Hasaranga and Kusal Perera contributed 20 runs each. Kamil Mishra made 19 off 18 balls and Kusal Mendis made 11 off 14 balls.
Skipper Yasim Murtaza bagged two wickets, and Ayush Shukla, Ehsan Khan and Aizaz Khan one each. Pathum Nissanka went back after run out.

Put into bat by Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka, Anshy Rath (48 off 46 balls) and Zeeshan Ali (23 off 17 balls) provided a solid start to Oman. They made a 41-run opening partnership.
Nizakat Khan contributed 52 off 38 balls, laced with four fours and two maximums, to take the team score to 149/4 in the allocated 20 overs. Dushmantha Chameera took two wickets, while Wanindu Hasaranga and Dasun Shanaka got one wicket each.

Meanwhile, UAE beat Oman by 42 runs in earlier match. Chasing a challenging 173-run target for victory, Oman kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They were bowled out for 130 in 18.4 overs.
Aryan Bisht remained the top scorer with 24 off 32 balls, hitting two boundaries. Skipper Jatinder Singh and Vinayak Shukla contributed 20 runs each.
