India beat Sri Lanka in the Super-Over to clinch the last Super Fours match of the T20I Asia Cup at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Saturday evening.
As Sri Lanka made just two runs for the loss of two wickets in the Super-Over, India achieved the target on the first ball to continue the winning streak in the tournament.
Chasing a challenging 203-run for victory, Sri Lanka reached 202/5 in the allocated 20 overs to tie with the Indian score.
Pathum Nissanka was the top scorer for Sri Lanka with his career best knock of 107 off 58 balls, hitting seven fours and six maximums. Kusal Perera made 58 off 32 balls with the help of eight fours and one six.
Dasun Shanaka contributed an unbeaten 22 off 11 balls, laced with two fours and one six. Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Kuldeep Yadav and Varub Chakravarthy got one wicket each. Pathum Nissanka was named player of the match.

After being put into bat first by Sri Lanka skipper Charith Asalanka, India reached 202/5 in the allocated 20 overs.
Abhishek Sharma was the highest scorer for India with a quickfire 61 off 31 balls, laced with eight fours and two maximums. Tilak Varma contributed a valuable 49 off 34 balls, hitting four fours and one maximum.
Sanju Samson made 39 off 23 balls with the help of one four and three huge sixes. Axar Patel contributed 21 off 15 balls, and skipper Suryakumar Yadav a subdued 12 off 13 balls.
Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera, Wanindu Gasaranga, Dasun Shanaka and Charith Asalanka bagged one wicket apiece.
It is a dead rubber as India and Pakistan have already qualified for the final. India is seeking a continuing winning streak, while Sri Lanka is looking for a consolation victory.
