Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) is shifting gears to disrupt Pakistan’s electric landscape, in a market flooded with high-riding crossover SUVs. Beyond offering mere transportation, the arrival of the GAC AION ES marks a deliberate attempt to elevate the standard of the traditional executive sedan.
Built on GAC’s dedicated GEP 2.0 EV platform, the AION ES pairs a futuristic starship-inspired design with real-world practicality. Stretching 4,810 mm long with a generous 2,750 mm wheelbase, it bypasses cramped cabin setups to deliver legroom tailored for executive travel and family comfort.
Beneath its low-slung, aerodynamic silhouette rests a 53.7 kWh LFP battery, producing 134 hp and 225 Nm of smooth, silent torque ideal for daily city navigation.
Safety remains central to its engineering. Armed with GAC’s Magazine Battery 2.0 technology, engineers build the pack to withstand extreme thermal, twist, and penetration tests without compromising structural integrity.
GAC AION ES Range Per Charge:
On the road, drivers get a practical range of up to 442 km (NEDC) per charge. When topping up, its 60 kW DC fast-charging capacity restores energy from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes, making long highway trips effortless.
Inside, the driver-centric cabin features an integrated PM 2.5 air filtration system. A standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, dual-zone climate control, and a 453-liter trunk.
The AION ES brings back the classic appeal of the three-box executive sedan—reimagined for an all-electric era. And it is supported by Lucky Motor Corporation’s nationwide sales and service footprint.
GAC AION ES Price in Pakistan:
Lucky Motor has not officially announced the price for the GAC AION ES in Pakistan yet.
LMC formally launched the GAC brand in Pakistan and revealed official prices for other models. They include the AION UT at PKR 6.399 million and the AION V at PKR 8.899 million. But the pricing and partial booking details for the AION ES remain marked as “To Be Announced.” And “Coming Soon”. Industry expectations suggest the official price drop and booking opening will take place toward the end of the year.
However, many are predicting the price based on the official pricing of LMC GAC lineup and segment positioning. The market analysts are projecting the expected price between PKR 7.0 million and PKR 8.0 million.
